Disillusioned college students Justin Monticello and Ryan Newbrough were swept up by Barack Obama’s campaign promises in 2008, but four years later, they are not happy.

They decided to make a video that expressed their discontent, to the tune of Gotye’s hit song “Somebody that I used to know”.

In the video, Monticello is nude as he begins singing about Obama’s first term that left him disappointed, with audio of Obama’s speech playing in the background.

He sings, “Now and then I think of that election day, November. When you won I felt so happy I could die”.

The camera pans away as his body is being painted like a canvas.

He sings, “You can get addicted to a certain kind of message. Like this is change we can believe in, yes we can. But college ended, had to pay my rent. You took Obamacare so far. But you left me like a dog strapped on Romney’s car. But the change I got was that I moved in with my mother”.

The paint begins to cover his entire body and reveals Shepard Fairey’s “Hope” poster.

Monticello continues singing, “Because you won and then you cut me off. Now your speeches never soar as high as unemployment”.

The well-done video already has more than 500,000 hits on YouTube and the outspoken creators appeared on Fox to speak about it.
