Joe Simpson was arrested for driving under the influence last weekend in Los Angeles.
The 54-year-old, who is most know as the “dadager” of Ashlee and Jessica Simpson, was pulled over by officers on Ventura Boulevard on August 4 at about 10 p.m.
Officers suspected Simpson had been drinking and hauled his butt off to the slammer.
Joe was booked and spent the night in a jail cell until his release the next morning at 9:41 a.m.
This is the first offense for Joe so he is unlikely to receive any jail time if the case goes to the District Attorney’s office.
