“Inbetweeners” Star James Buckley Marries Clair Meek
“The Inbetweeners” star James Buckley wed his girlfriend in Scotland on Saturday.
The actor and model Clair Meek walked down the aisle in a traditional Scottish ceremony in Dundas Castle, near Edinburgh, in front of their friends and family.
Buckley wore a traditional green and black tartan kilt and his bride was spotted on the castle grounds wearing a gorgeous lace vintage wedding gown.
The 25-year-old actor, who plays sex-obsessed Jay in the Channel 4 show, were joined by their celebrity friends to celebrate their happy day, which included Danny Dyer.
Dyer tweeted a picture of his girlfriend, who incidentally caught the bride’s bouquet, even swore he’d propose if his West Ham team won yesterday.
A source said of the bride and groom, “Clair and James looked so happy together. He was loving the excuse to get dressed up in his kilt. The day was perfect.”
Other wedding guests included James’s co-stars Simon Bird, Joe Thomas and Blake Harrison.
Dyer tweeted a photo of the newlyweds enjoying their first dance, writing, “A lovely cute couple.I wish @RealJBuckley & the lovely @Clair_Meek all the best.I almost wanna get married. (almost).”
James Buckley and Clair Meek welcomed a son named Harrison last October.
