Lindsay Lohan Told About Secret Sister During GMA Interview (VIDEO)

Lindsay Lohan stopped by “Good Morning America”, which is sure to really piss Barbara Walters off, to discuss her role as Elizabeth Taylor in the new Lifetime movie “Liz & Dick”.

The raspy-voiced actress seemed surprised to hear her father Michael Lohan fathered a “love child”.

Lindsay Lohan told “GMA” host Amy Robach that it was “nerve wracking” to portray such an iconic figure like Elizabeth Taylor in the film.

Lohan said, “You can never actually be a clone of the person, so you have to bring some of yourself into it. And I was lucky enough because I do relate to Elizabeth Taylor in a lot of ways.”

Robach touched on Lindsay’s drama-filled life that is similar to Elizabeth Taylor’s.

The “Mean Girls” star had some pretty canned answers (obviously coached by her new management). She said, “I think that everyone goes through things in life, and I like to learn from my mistakes, obviously. I wouldn’t be who I am today if I hadn’t gone through certain things and everything happens for a reason — good or bad. So you can just take what you’ve learned from it and move forward.”

Robach talked about the constant drama in the Lohan family, referencing news that her father Michael had fathered a child with another woman in 1995. The rumors first made news in 2008, but Lindsay pretended it was news to her!

“I didn’t even hear that, so thanks. I don’t read the news. I don’t pay attention to that. I don’t really want to get into that. I want to stay on the positive side of things,” she said.

Lohan is wanting to keep the focus on her acting career, adding, “I’m reading scripts every day. I just want to keep calling my agents [to tell them] ‘keep me on set,’” she said, adding “It’s safer that way.”
