Reese Witherspoon and Mindy Kaling chatted as they walked back to their cars after grabbing lunch together at Tavern in Brentwood on Saturday. Reese also stopped to pick up an armload of magazines at the newsstand. Mindy, whose new show The Mindy Project quickly got a full season pick up, has often gushed about her love of romantic comedies - especially those starring Reese. Perhaps the newfound friendship means they could collaborate on a future project or they just have a lot in common as powerful producers and actors. Either way, it's a nice girls day out for Reese who has been spending most of her time with her family since they welcomed adorable baby Tennessee Toth in September.
