John Mayer and Katy Perry looked very much like a couple when they left the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in NYC last night while holding hands. The two were leaving the Friars Foundation's annual Applause Award Gala for Don Rickles, where John walked the black carpet alongside such funny stars as Joan Rivers, Kathy Griffin, and Bob Saget. While Katy didn't pose for photos with John at the event, she has made her feelings for her on-again, off-again boyfriend very public in recent weeks. During Katy Perry's interview for Vogue, she admitted that she is still "madly in love" with John, even though the two were broken up at the time. According to reports, John and Katy rekindled their romance during her Memorial Day party earlier this year and the two have been casually dating.
Aside from reviving his relationship with Katy, John has been keeping busy by preparing for the release of his new album. He recently revealed the lyric video for his new single, "Paper Doll," which is allegedly his response to Taylor Swift's "Dear John." Despite the supposed connection to Taylor, the song got a lot of attention online thanks to the video's star, Joanna Rohrback, a 61-year-old Florida woman who went viral a few weeks ago thanks to her "Prancercise" exercise method.
