Ryan Gosling has impressed the most important person in girlfriend Eva Mendes’ life — her namesake mom, Eva!
In Touch has learned that Ryan won over Eva’s Cuban-born mom during a dinner at her daughter's Los Feliz home in early May. “Eva’s mom was gushing over Ryan,” an eyewitness tells In Touch. “As she was leaving, Eva’s mom was hugging and kissing Ryan. She loves him!”
An insider adds that the actor is “totally head over heels” for his girlfriend of eight months. The couple was spotted holding hands and skipping in front of NYC restaurant Lucien on May 10, where an onlooker tells In Touch they looked “really cute together.”
Meanwhile, Ryan’s mom, Donna, has already met and spent quality time with her son’s girlfriend in NYC in early January, when the trio saw a movie together.
Eva and Ryan started dating last fall after Eva split from her boyfriend of 10 years, filmmaker George Augusto. “He makes her so happy,” says a friend.
