Giuliana Rancic Shows Off Adorable Newborn Son (VIDEO)

Giuliana Rancic is opening up about her life as a new mother on the “Today” show.

The E! News anchor and her husband Bill Rancic welcomed their first child, Edward Duke Rancic, into the world via gestational surrogate on August 29 in Denver, Colorado.

The 37-year-old television host opened up about how much she enjoys motherhood on the morning show, showing off a photo of her three-week-old baby boy.

Giuliana admits, “I look at that picture ten times a day and I still coo! He’s just adorable. He’s so cute!

“We just stare at him all the time,’ she continued. ‘He’s got big eyes and he’ll just stare at you for ten minutes at a time. It’s just unbelievable.”

Giuliana said she doesn’t even mind the loss of sleep, admitting she and Bill fight over who gets to wake up to give him his bottle.

Rancic also talked about her surrogate, Delphine, saying, “She gave us the greatest gift in the world.”

Giuliana Rancic and her husband Bill also got to be in the delivery room to watch their son born.

Rancic said, “When the baby came into the world, we just started hysterically crying tears of joy”.

Giuliana admitted she cried last night when she had to leave her son with Bill in Chicago to fly to New York. She flew in to support the Do It For The Girls Day, that encourages women to give themselves breast exams to detect breast cancer.

She had a double mastectomy after finding out she had breast cancer while trying to become pregnant.

Giuliana said the past year has been full of ups and down, saying, “It was the best year of my life, because of the baby and the worst year of my life because of my cancer.

“It just goes to show that if you’re strong and positive, great things can come out of the darkest time of your life.”

Giuliana and Bill tried to conceive for four years before deciding to use a surrogate.
