Lindsay Lohan Rushed To The Hospital With Lung Infection

Lindsay Lohan was hospitalized last night suffering from a severe lung infection.

The 26-year-old actress was taken to the emergency room at a New York City hospital, after already complaining of having “walking pneumonia” recently.

Lohan’s illness went from bad to worse, leading her to seek medical attention at Mount Sinai Hospital where she was given antibiotics and released.

The “Liz & Dick” star is now reportedly resting at her hotel room while she recovers.

The star’s father, Michael Lohan, claims his daughter has bad asthma.

Michael said of his daughter, “She’s fine, but she had a bad case of asthma as a kid, so she has to take these things seriously. When she was a kid, we almost lost her a couple of times because of the asthma.”

Her father adds that Lindsay Lohan has been suffering with the lung infection for weeks, causing her trip to New York from California to be delayed.

Lohan’s illness is the latest in more drama for the actress, who was arrested last week after allegedly leaving the scene of an accident after clipping a pedestrian with her car.

Lindsay was pulling in slowly to park her Porsche Cayenne near the Dream Hotel when she allegedly hit the knee of a man on September 19.

The “Mean Girls” star was booked for the misdemeanor offense for leaving the scene of the accident but was released with a desk appearance ticket and did not have to post bail.
