Mother Monster is gearing up to hit the big screen and it looks like she’s going for the kill. Lady Gaga will join director Robert Rodriguez (Once Upon A Time In Mexico, Sin City, and Spy Kids) for the follow up to his 2012 action thriller Machete. In Machete Kills Gaga will play the character La Chameleon (that sounds about right) and she’s just tweeted the swankiest of gangster movie posters. Get your first look on inside.
Personally, I think Gaga will be a great addition to this very eclectic cast: Danny Trejo will play the title character Machete, and Zoe Saldana, Sofia Vergara, Mel Gibson, Amber Heard, and Jessica Alba are also on board. And rumor has it that ya boy Charlie Sheen will play… the American president? Yeah. That’s one eclectic cast. I kinda have to see it to believe it.
Apparently, Lady Gaga has already been on set filming a bit, impressing the ish out of her director who tweeted that she “KICKED SO MUCH ASS!” I can see that being the case.
What do ya’ll think of the poster? We’ve seen Gaga do a lot of things and I don’t think anyone would deny her ability to perform, but can she rock on the big screen? And how pleased– or displeased– will you be to see Charlie Sheen playing the leader of the so-called free world?
