Jennifer Lopez may have lost her job as judge on American Idol to Mariah Carey (either of her own volition or not) but that doesn’t mean that La Diva Latina is slowing down. On the contrary, I believe that J. Lo is going to use the newfound surge in popularity that she got from Idol and will refocus her energy on other parts of her career. In recent years, J. Lo has let her music career kind of fall by the wayside … but with the attention she’s won from her gig as Idol judge, she has been able to revive her music career and make a serious push for supremacy again. As you may know, J. Lo has FINALLY embarked on her first-ever world concert tour and it seems like she’s been releasing new singles every other day … like this new track with Flo Rida. To be honest, Goin’ On is no Waiting For Tonight but it’s a fairly decent track. While the song itself sounds a bit generic (sorry, J. Lo), I do love the vibrant music video. Hot Pink and Neon Yellow? HOT HOT HOT. I’m not gonna lie, when this song comes on in the club, I’m apt to bust a move or two … tho, I may need to find myself a fierce hot pink cape first. HMMM. I dig this new video, do you?
