Justin Bieber Enjoys Some Bro Time With His Dad Jeremy

Back in July of last year, 2011, we learned that Justin Bieber got his first tattoo … a matching tattoo that he got with his father Jeremy Bieber. Today, a year later, we get to see new photos of The Biebs and his bro dad spending some quality time together. As you can see in the photos below, both Justin and his dad have a few more tattoos than they had this time last year … clearly, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Jeremy and Justin Bieber spent some quality father and son time over a lunch of Mexican food at Wahoo’s Fish Tacos in Los Angeles. The 18-year-old heartthrob was clearly hoping to keep a low profile as he and his heavily tattooed dad grabbed lunch at a strip mall in the valley. The pair has plenty to discuss as Jeremy has reportedly signed up to take part in the UK edition of Celebrity Big Brother and is being paid £100,000 to join the Big Brother house on Channel 5 next season. ‘He has been talking to producers for a few weeks and they have cut a deal, ‘ a source close to the show told People. ‘The fact that he is the father of one of the most famous people in the world means he was near the top of the producers’ wish-list. No doubt Justin’s fans will tune in to see what his dad is like. Justin is a little worried, though.’ Jeremy, who lives in Winnipeg with his wife Erin Wagner and Justin’s half-siblings, Jazmyn and Jaxson, split up with the teen sensation’s mother when he was two but has remained close to his son. ‘I have a great relationship with my dad,’ the pop star has said. ‘When I was younger, he taught me how to play some songs on the guitar, like Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door by Bob Dylan.’ Father and son also have several matching tattoos.

It’s very natural for a boy to want to emulate his father but, in this instance, I think it’s the other way around. Jeremy Bieber is a fairly young father, one who doesn’t look like he wants to grow up any time soon. Because his son is the most popular pop star in the world, Jeremy is able to enjoy his son’s success. Whenever I see these two together, they look more like friends than they do father and son. I suppose it’s fair to say that if you find Justin Bieber childish and annoying, you can see from where comes that kind of influence. This biz about daddy Bieber looking for reality TV fame is just … so perfect, so expected. In the fine tradition of fathers like Kevin Federline and Michael Lohan, it would seem that Jeremy Bieber is ready for his time in the sun.
